Kate Lampe has over 22 years experience as a master’s level counselor. She has worked in crisis centers, hospitals, addictions units and community agencies. Now in private practice, Kate works with couples, individuals and groups. Getting quickly to the heart of issues, she allows healing to take place through gentle and safe exploration.

Kate received her Masters in Counseling at Oakland University in Rochestor, Michigan. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Certified Release Therapist, A Voice Dialogue Facilitator, A Conscious Body Facilitator, and a Certified Addictions Counselor Diplomate.

She has extensive post-graduate training in the psycho-spiritual realms of therapy, including: The Wellness Institute with Diane Zimberoff and David Hartman; Voice Dialogue, the psychology of selves with Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone in Mendocino, CA; The Conscious Body with Judith Hendin, Ph.D., in Easton, PA; The Dreaming Process with Keith Varnum in Phoenix, AZ, and Terry Kaye in Allentown, PA; Process Work at The Process Institute, founded by Drs. Amy and Arnie Mindell in Portland, OR.

Kate offers healing meditative practices for cancer patients and their families at The Wellness Community. She has been a popular teacher at the Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Academy, where she taught the psycho-spiritual aspects of bodywork and she has presented various courses at local colleges and churches.  Kate has worked in the community as coordinator for the annual Prayer for World Healing, which brought together multi-faith ministers and their congregations. She spent many years as a leader for teen discussion groups a the Unity Church.  She has co-facilitated the training program The Conscious Body Process.

Kate's personal healing journey has traveled the course through divorce and early childhood sexual abuse. She has followed her own dreams and body symptoms into an abundant recovery and with great sensitivity offers this path to others. She and her husband Bill have forged a dynamic, healing relationship. They have 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
